Cheesy Chicken – crock pot recipe

So who out there likes recipes that are easy, tasty, & the kids will love?  ME…ME!

Every weekend, my husband (Blaine) and I plan our dinner meals for the week.  One day he tells me, “I’m going to get groceries in a few minutes. Let me know what our meals are.”  Ummm….thanks for the short notice, dear! 😉  We can usually come up with a few meals and then eventually have a brain fart and don’t know what other meals to make.  That’s when I start to google recipes or quick get on pinterest.  I came across a recipe on Crockin Girls.  It only needed a few ingredients, easy to make, and people said they enjoyed it as well as their kids.  *ding ding ding*  We have a winner!

We had the cheesy chicken this Tuesday night and everyone loved it.  My 1 year old, Hendrix, even kept saying “MMmmm…MMmmm…MMmmm.”  I SWEAR he has never said that while eating a meal, and he definitely did that night!

So here it is!
What you’ll need:
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 can of cheddar cheese soup
garlic powder
egg noodles (or whatever you prefer to go with your cheesy chicken)

1) put chicken in crock pot
2) put soup on top of chicken
3) put pepper, salt, & garlic powder in crock pot
4) cook for about 6-8 hours on low
5) We decided to have egg noodles to go with our dish.  So once it was ready to serve, I just placed the chicken on top and poured the cheese all over.  Yummy!
